Terms of service
Plain terms for a simple product: you buy a year of access, we give you practice material we wrote ourselves, and neither of us pretends this is an official examination.
In effect from 12 August 2026.
Draft. The operator’s registered details have not been published yet, so this page describes how the service works but does not yet identify who is accountable for it. It will be completed before the service takes payments.
What this service is
Civil Service Practice is an independent preparation platform for the Philippine Civil Service Examination. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or accredited by the Civil Service Commission. Nothing here is an official examination, an official answer key, or a statement of Commission policy.
We do not promise that you will pass. What we promise is that the material is written honestly against the published scope, and that your results describe your own performance rather than flattering you.
Your account
- An account is for one person. Sharing your sign-in with others, or selling access to it, ends the subscription without a refund.
- Keep your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has been using your account.
- You must give a real email address, because it is how we confirm the account and how you recover it.
What a subscription buys
A subscription is a single payment for twelve months of access at one level - Subprofessional at ₱399, Professional at ₱699 per year.
- It does not renew automatically. There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel: when the twelve months end, access returns to the free tier until you choose to buy again.
- Buying again before the term ends extends it rather than replacing it.
- The free tier stays available without payment, with a limited number of questions.
- Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
What you may do with the questions
Every question, explanation, and lesson on this platform was written or generated for it, and it belongs to us. Your subscription is a personal, non-transferable licence to use it to prepare - including printing answer sheets and papers for your own practice.
It is not a licence to republish. Copying the material into another reviewer, reselling it, scraping the site in bulk, or using it to train a model are all outside what a subscription grants.
Fair use of the service
Do not attempt to break into other people’s accounts, circumvent the plan limits, overwhelm the service with automated requests, or interfere with how it runs for everybody else. We may suspend an account that does, and will explain why.
What we do not promise
The service is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, that every question is free of error, or that any particular examination outcome will follow from using it. If you find a mistake, tell us - our editorial standards page explains how corrections are handled.
Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Philippine consumer law.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and where the breach was not your doing we will refund the unused part of the term.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and the courts of the Philippines have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects what you have already paid for, it applies from your next purchase rather than retroactively, and we will tell you by email.
